Located on the small bubbling river stream, The Humming Soul is located in the peaceful village of Penebel in Tabanan, Bali. Location

The Humming Soul is located exactly in Banjar Dinas Tegallinggah Kaja, Desa Tegallinggah, Penebel, Tabanan- Bali. Banjar means “community” a legally and socially recognised term to describe the community which the neighbourhood belong. No other place in Indonesia use the word community in their address. Several Banjars form a Desa (Village) and the Banjar that you belong to is determined by the area that you live indicates a strong bond of unity among the people of Bali.

Tegallingah is one of the villages in Kecamatan Penebel (Penebel District) which is about 15 minutes from the main town.

Desa Tegallinggah is blessed with fertile soil as it is located on the highland. Furthermore, the high rainfalls and its land contour make it ideal for farming. The cascading land contour makes it perfect for these farms to be irrigated by using “system subak” (or irrigating canals). Not only rice farming that seems to flourish in the area, other agriculture products such as cacao, coconut, durians, mangosteens, wood, jackfruits and banana are some of the traded commodities.
